kat sadi 12/10/97 i have been wearing a pow/mia braclet since 1970. if you make dog tags with the names of the men who are still missing people could wear them in memory of the men who gave their lives for us and make the public aware there are still over 2,500 still missing that need our government to go over there and do something about bringing them home and bringing closure to their families.

Rejean Deragon 11/28/97 I'm in the Marine Corps, and when at MCT (a school after bootcamp), we used dog tags to tell who to put in what bunk on the weekends. The cabs use to drop off passed out Marines who had partyed a bit much in front of the squad bays we stayed in, those of us on duty, and/or sobber, would match the Dog tag to Name written on the side of bunks.
Corey Robertson 11/26/97 With the holidays coming up, the traditional huge family gatherings are just around the corner. The tags would be great for identifying who belongs to whose side of the family. My husband could tag his side and I could tag mine. This way we could make sure that we know who Uncle George belongs to! This makes it so much easier for everyone. I think this would work for weddings too! Easy to know who belongs to the bride side of the family or groom. There really are thousands of uses for the tags!!

Jeremy O'Donnell 11/13/97 Get your dog tags however you would like, but be sure to wear them properly. If you ever wear combat boots, ALWAYS put one tag in the shoelaces at the bottom of the left boot. That is how they are worn, NO EXEPTIONS!!

Che' S. Cook 11/08/97 I used to hang out with U.S. Marines at our favorite bar. Thing is, I have long hair and stubble. I used to convince people that I was special forces and allowed to wear long hair(DUH!). A pair of black dogtags help to accomplish this task and impress the ladies. Idea 2, put your address on them for when you stumble out of the bar without the ability to combine words, you just show the tag to the taxi driver.
